I’ve done a lot of searching on the internet for a good site to watch movies online for free, as I’m sure a lot of you have. There are so many sites that I have visited that offer free movies online that wind up bombarding me with advertisements, then end up redirecting me to some clickbank ad requiring me to obtain a paid membership before I can watch movies online. Even some of the more popular movie sites that actually do allow you to watch movies online for free (I won't mention any names) tend to have viruses and trojans lingering around on their servers, not necessarily because of the site, but because of the users that upload the movies.

Also, be very weary of purchasing a membership to one of those so-called "online movie sites" which promise you the world when it comes to letting you watch movies online for free. I tell you this because I myself almost got sucked into joining one of these paid sites. That was at least until I began researching some of these companies more thoroughly and found that they are heavily being saturated all over the search engines and pay-per-click advertising by affiliates who want to make an extra buck. Most of the affiliates who are marketing these sites have no idea what kind of quality or services the paid sites which they're marketing have. Though you’ll see affiliates (trying to act like regular people simply supplying an honest review, hmmm) praise these sites like they’re an answer from God, most of them wouldn't even think about obtaining a membership for themselves, so that they might be able to properly evaluate the services.

So why am I telling you all this? Well, if I can possibly save you a buck or two, instead of trying to get you to spend money, then why not? Needless to say, your computer will remain virus-free and happier too. I don't market these sites nor do I ever intend to. Why would I try to get you to join something that I would never consider joining myself? Therefore, I'm not here to try to sell you anything, which allows me to give you a non-biased opinion about these services.

I did however come across an interesting site that allows you to watch movies online for free, that believe it or not, doesn't try to sell you anything. The homepage is very clean, easy to navigate and there are absolutely no popup ads. Another big plus is that there is no chance of getting any viruses or spyware because the movies are not uploaded by users. Instead, all movies are maintained by the webmasters and though there aren't a huge amount of movies yet, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you're kids aren't going to have something popping up that they shouldn't see. The site that I'm referring to can be found at the bottom of this post and they seem to be a very reputable place to watch movies online for free. You'll also find movies there that haven't even come out in theatres yet which is pretty cool.

Before you even think about watching movies online, there are a few guidelines that I would suggest you first follow:

1. Make sure you have a broadband connection to avoid having to wait for your movies to load. However, if all you have is a 56k modem, you can still watch them but it will take much longer for them load and you may run into buffering issues.

2. You also want to ensure that you have "cookies" enabled on your browser. To enable cookies, depending on what internet browser you are using, you will probably need to go to the tools menu, click on internet options, click on the security tab, click custom level and where you see cookies, select always accept cookies.

Watching movies online for free couldn't be easier in my opinion.
